DramaFever “Dream High” Audition Contest Web Spot
I made this “web spot” for DramaFever to promote their “Dream High” Audition Contest which was shared on Youtube and Facebook.
The only requirements I received from the client was the list of contest entry steps which needed to be prominently displayed. I received a voiceover script which I helped to tweak. I then selected and hired appropriate voice over talent which would resonate with DramaFever’s key audience demographic.
I scoured the first couple of episodes of the Korean television drama “Dream High” for clips. I was fortunate to find an audition scene and edited cuts to fit. I used clips from an unaired opening sequence because of their “hero” qualities and also to delight fans and viewers with shots they’ve never seen before.
I then created the visual elements and animated everything in Adobe After Effects.
Note: the titles may seem drab, and odd with the superscripted letters at the end of headings. But this was done to mimic the English Logo from the show.
DramaFever.com is the largest online video site for the distribution of international televised content on demand for regular users and premium subscribers. It was offered online with their content as well as shared on social media.
